I'd like to say a big thank you for the response on the newsletter, many of you sent in your article's but only a few could be shown! Keep sending them in, for your chance to be featured. I'd also like to thank the community for the on going support towards the community, and the tough times we had with the servers, without you mad SG addicts, we'd be doomed!

Server downtime

We had a rough month as far as servers go. All of our server were lagging bad enough that I decided to completely rebuild of all of them. That worked wonders and all servers went back to running lag free.

A few days later all the servers in Virginia went offline due to a hard-drive crash. It took a few days to rebuild all of the servers but I am sure their are still a few settings that need to be corrected. If you see any bugs or changed settings please let us know so we can get them corrected.

We all apoligise to our players about the issues they have had, and once again, enjoy the servers.

New Admins, AO's, CA's

Please welcome the newest admins to the team : Justice, Dannen and Epic-Bread-Man. Newst people to the CA team are, The green bastard & Jaffa, They have been active in vent, forums and servers and worked their way up. Also congratulations to the 5 new AO's! Modgers, Paul, Highsky, Juku and falcom, they have all worked hard through the time they have been here with SteamGamers and have proven themselves to be helpful and trustworthy. Job well done. Also a big welcome back to Red Tampon, he will once again make a great addition to the BD team.

We wish them all luck in the new roles.

New MiniGames Server

Our community was lucky enough to have another Minigames server opened, As the success of the first Minigames showed, that it was a good choice to draw people to the community and will hopefully stay that way, we hope to see it full every minute of every hour. Minigames is as the title says where all of the maps are either fun, challenging or very random, both of the Steam Gamers servers have 20 slots and with the servers recently being rebuilt they are lag free.

So if you want to play some Minigames here is the information you need:

Call of duty: World at War server

With a new game coming to stores this Christmas, many people have bought the new game, Call of duty: World at War! We now have a world at war server, so come and hop on!

We are trying to get this server as populated as possible, so if you have the game come on, and to everyone I would advise buying it as it is well worth the money!

EA pronounced yesterday that it released Spore, Spore Creepy & Cute Parts Pack, Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, Mass Effect, Need for Speed Undercover and EA SPORTS FIFA Manager 2009 for Steam.

Mirror's Edge, Command & Conquer Red Alert 3, and Dead Space will be added next week.

"EA is one of the industry's largest publishers," said Gabe Newell, co-founder and president of Valve. "The EA titles coming to Steam this holiday include some this year's top PC titles."
