The law of inanimate hostility: Don't rely on anything that moves, it only moves when it damn well pleases and usually that's right after you turn into a zombie or the humans get away.
Skynet Corallary: This is because all inanimate objects in Source are fucking evil. Notice how anything that moves invariably kills someone.
Raven's Addendum: If everything is going smoothly and the inanimate objects aren't trying to kill you, it's because they know that a zombie is about to do that for them.
The law of machiavellian self-interest: Generally everyone will want to be with many other humans, and towards the front of the pack. This is so when the zombie spawns they will have plenty of time and firepower to either kill or outrun it. Of course this is also so if they're the zombie they have plenty of food and a head start on the food that notices quick enough to fight back.
Track and Field Addendum: Outrunning the zombies is not necessary, only outrunning the other people.
The law of repetitious armageddon: It's ALWAYS the end of the world, except in the designated areas.
Strangelove's Corallary: The end of the world is invariably a (temporary) nuclear holocaust.
Max Brooks' Addendum: It is believed that the excess radiation from the repeated apocalypses are currently the root cause of the sudden epidemic of spontaneous zombification.
Haggard's law of procedural misanthropy: The guy in front of you is always an asshole.
Phoenix's Corollary: No good deed goes unpunished.
Earl's hypothesis of inanimate righteousness: The excessive amount of negative karma produced by Haggard's Law is what motivated even inanimate objects to attempt to balance karma.
The law of failed good intentions: Warning that something is lethal will result in many people dying through disbelief. Conversely failing to warn that something is lethal will result in many people dying through ignorance. Either way it's still your fault.
Phatman's Constant: The number of people who leave a safe spot to go on a zombie hunt does not translate into increased odds of success but rather increased embarassment.
Zargotelc's Law of Ineptitude: Any human piloted vehicle will tend towards failure.
November's Algorithm: Success will result in a temporary geometric increase in the vehicle's tendency towards failure and a linear increase in the possibility of an epic fail turnaround.
Lux's Law of Miscommunication: Any attempt to discuss strategy with teammates will invariably tend towards failure and usually death by accidental teamkilling.
Drox's Law of Excessive Visitation: EVERY map is overplayed, get used to it.
Spikedrocker's Corallary: MOTHERF#@%&ING 1TARDS!
