Kicking afk players sooner

I hate to say this but the escape servers are so popular that there are literally lines to get in at busy points in the day. Don't beleive me? Around 2 p.m. on any given Saturday, there are 2-3 people on the autojoin list. This can be seen when someone leaves the server and the player amount temporarily jumps from 29/30 to 32/30 and then back to 30/30. But wait theres more. I've discovered that during this queue to get in someone is afk. Last Saturday i saw 2 people spectating(not admins) for 3 rounds until they came back(they were full rounds so say about 15 minutes). I propose that anyone in spectator(not admins) or not moving for more than 2-3 minutes at a time be auto-kicked. This will increase our active player flow and reduce wait time to get in. Thoughts/opinions?

Ya I have noticed it takes a long time for afk's to get kicked. Especially when the afk person is in-game and spawns as zombie or VIP it can be very annoying.

i also think that admins shouldn't be able to get autokicked. Ill go into spec and just go make some food in the kitchen and come back and have been kicked out. It would help a little bit of deterrent for people acting fools if they think a admin is watching.

The only thing keeping me with agreeing with you 100% is when you said whoever is on spectator mode except admins should be kicked in 2-3 mins. Its a very useful idea, but sometimes when the server is swarmed by blockers, or douchebags (which is basically almost always, especially in VIP), some people like me go on spectate like me until they leave because its just not playable with these kinds of people.

It's probably cause most of the time we don't even know there's an afk guy there. If I see someone just sitting at spawn I'll give them 5-10 seconds to say something then kick em.

Yeah but then you don't know if they just had to go to the bathroom or something. I think a 4 minute timer would be the best bet. 4 minutes is long enough to go get a drink or go to the bathroom but short enough that it won't give people a free pass to go afk.

Another really nice touch would be a kill trigger getting enabled in the spawns after a certain amount of time on all the maps, so if the zombie is AFK the round automatically restarts.

Personally I think you should be kicked after 4 mins of inactivity on the Zombie servers only. If you are an admin it should be 10 mins because after awhile the blockers and assholes catch on that you are afk even if you are in spec. I would agree to this rule and I think that the next step would be for someone to set up a vote to see who would agree to this correct?
