Vac?

I just guessing, but I saw more speedhackers and aimbotters today than I have ever seen before. Does anyone know if the latest steam update disabled VAC or something?

I was happy to see that Valve failed at stopping me from having my blank name. If you read the update, my method is listed on the last line. They didn't do it right though.
If it flys, floats, or fu***, it's best to rent.

Fixed players able to make their name disappear in the scoreboard by setting it to "~~ ~" in the options panels <- this one?

I thought you entered the ASCII code by holding Alt and typing a combo number

but back to the subject, VAC update and Source Engine update aren't the same thing. Sometimes, it's only a Source update and we rarely hear about any VAC update unless it's major.

» About VAC Updates:

Valve periodically updates the VAC modules, which in turn, your server will download and update them automatically. You can keep uptodate with when new modules are released via Counter-Servers main page, or by subscribing to the VALVe mailing lists.

Don't hesitate to take a quick demo of said speed hackers and get their STEAMIDs so we can ban them.

Yep, I use those symbols. Valve got the sequence wrong. Copy and pasteing must be hard for them.

I wonder with all the updates, why Valve has never fixed the damn player mute option.

Because, like with all online *support*, they are all a pile of dog crap, and can't be bothered with fixing current games.

Valve is more interested in making updates to quick patch the newly released games than support their main market games.

And I'm pretty sure their gonna release a Counter-Strike 3 (prob CS Trinity) in 2010.

It's sad that most companies only cares in the amount of money they're making than the amount of rep they gained. A good company gains both...

Someone could easily gain money but have a lousy rep and someone who has a good rep are often poor.
But gaining both, money and fame, shows that you're at the top.

There were a bunch of hackers on tonight. Something is not right in the Vac area.
