This is definitely the most challenging boss in WoW history, and I’ve been there among the first to kill Horsemen in Naxx-40 and whatnot. Everything else up to this point pales in comparison. The encounter is extremely ruthless in the sense that anyone making a mistake will almost instantly lead to a raid-wide wipe. The fight itself requires almost 20-minutes of full-on concentration coupled with very high personal skill-level.

Quite simply the perfect end-boss to finish the expansion with, couldn’t have hoped for more. My hat is off to Blizzard on this one. I can’t wait to see if this encounter can be outdone in Cataclysm.
That's some intense shit right there. Perserverance at its finest.

I still think C'thun is tops.

I don't like this hard mode crap. Most of the fun in raiding for me was slowly making it through an instance, seeing each boss and spending days on them each. The way it is now, you blow through everything in two weeks tops... no suspense or excitement in seeing the final guy. Two weeks of stuff to do for a patch that takes months to get out is not a good return on the investment.

I like the old days to. Wow have become so easy, theres no pre-q. you dont need a key to get in to heroics anymore and u dont even have to make a group anymore. Epic where worth something back in the 60-70s now anyone can get
    them

Thats just because he was unkillable when they released him :P

I dont know, I like the ideas of blizzards new raid policy's but I do miss Vanilla wow's difficulty vs. BC and Wrath's jokes of a game.

This. I went batshit insane after I got SSC attuned and then they fucking patched it.

I like raiding alot better now then in BC( can't say much about Vanilla, wasn't playing then)
Attunements were a pain. Getting a new guild member Mount Hyjai attuned was a bitch. I hated farming for resist sets for a few fights. I think that raiding is more casual friendly now and has it's "hardcore" side too.
