Tank Question

I have had 3 characters worth mentioning, a priest, a warlock and a shaman. I now want to make a tank, but i'm not sure what is the best to make, the guild i'm in is mainly Warriors, but that only somewhat effects me. I have just recently faction changed to alliance as well. What race and class should I make. I have no real care as to which, but its hard to pick one. And whatever it is I do pick I want the best race, a lot have told me Human for expertise, but I'm always open for consideration.

Im a big fan of the Tankadin, mainly because at later levels he is a beast at survival and AoE threat gaining. Druids are also really sweet, and tbh I always found warrior boring. I'd go Druid, just because of the faster leveling and the flexibility it gives you.

Don't go DK, Paladin imo, very very easy.

Paladin is obviously, very, very, very easy tanking, good damage mitigation, easy AoE threat.
Now, alternatively, (yes, warriors are suckish at anything but single-target tanking) I would choose a Nightelf Druid Tank, that +1% Dodge is beast, and Druids have huge ammounts of Damage mitigation and health at later levels. You be the judge.

I chose Paladins because the rotation is so easy. Consecration... well that's about it

Well I are sad, I bought some BoA plate items but now I almost want to go druid over other races. Fuck...maybe i'll just go warrior for a little more of a challenge then paladin. Thanks all.

Druid tanks are crap. The -20% Dodge in ICC is bad news to dr000id tanks.

Druid Tanks dont get that hurt by it actually, I prefer to run with a druid OT when I am working in ICC.... mainly cause they dont steal my gear.

I personally have a tank of every class (meaning tank classes) cause it is what I like. I personally am a fan of DK tanking, so that is what I run as my main. Warrior tanking is a close second imo. never enjoyed pali or druid tanking.... to easy.

Personally i despise healing a druid tank in ICC, the dodge really does affect them.

Tbh i would roll paladin, it's ezmode and quite fun.

llke the others said go paladin. They got great talents, buffs,a good amount of of SH*t buttosn, and easy aoe threat.
