So let me get this straight: You spent precious time running/lvl 20 mounting it all the way from STV (I assume since it is the closest Horde port) and ran through level 30 mobs that probably destroyed you more than once, to get to Darkvale where you more than likely ran into some alliance, just to get to the Alliance starting area to kill Hogger. Ur l33t.
