How to install skins on Css

Hello guy i made this tutorial because that everyone i know asks me the same question over and over again so here it is


1.Download a skin you like from here:http://www.fpsbanana.com/skins/games/2

2.When the download is completed a winrar window should pop up (if dont then you need winrar or something that can read rar files)

Download Winrar here: http://www.rarlab.com/rar/wrar380.exe ( Once its installed you should be able to open the file!)

3.When the window pops up there should be folders called (model sound material)
(sometimes script or something else..) save the files somewhere and go to step 4.

4.Go to my computer select the harddrive you installed steam on (default c then program or program files then steam and then steamapps then yoursteamname then counter strike source and then cstrike ( C:\Program\Steam\steamapps\Name\counter-strike source\cstrike)

5.Select all the skin folders (model sound material) and drag them to the cstrike folder AND SELECT YES TO ALL and your done!

Since there is no longer a Newbie Zone I'll post this here
This is mainly for Spjerre who is confused on how to install steam skins correctly.

1. Get your skin

Go to www.fbsbanana.com and find the skin you want and DL it.

2. Extract to your desktop


Easy yes!

It should be there!!

3. Open your drive where Steam is located (For me it is my F: drive)


Open it, yes!!

4. Drag the folders you need into the cstrike

Open the file you have on the deaktop and find the "materials" "scripts" "sounds" or anything else that is in a folder. (drag multiple folders by holding Ctrl and clicking). Once you have clicked the ones you need pull them on top of your cstrike like so;



You might get asked "Do you want to merge?"
Answer : Yes to all
Merging the folders makes it A LOT easier!

5. Try your skins out.
