I'm going to be assembling the computer myself and with my more experienced friends so that gives me a bit more money to play around with.
I'm guessing that by the time I get around to buying this new computer (hopefully by the end of next month) prices will be different and maybe even parts.....but it'd be nice if I can see what sort of computer I can buy in my price range.
Budget is really in the region of £400-£550...but of course the cheaper it is the better.
Some things to take into account:
-The Dell monitor I have with my current computer is fine as it is....will not be buying a new one.
-I'm planning on getting Windows 7 myself (if you get what I mean) so you don't have to include that in the package.
-The computer is mostly going to be for gaming....
Also some other things I wouldn't mind knowing is....is it worth keeping anything from my old computer?? I have 2gb RAM, 2x 150GB hard drives (one of which has rarely been filled over 5gb)....
