Technical problem...

Alright well I seem to have a slight predicament; let me explain: So I was playing on the minigames server about 20 minutes ago and noticed that my minimap was non-functional; others had this too. Some cheery fellow said over chat "type exec lab in the command console". Being the gullible person that I am (having NO idea what it does), I did it. All my binds and control options were reset (that was what was first noticable). Angered, I left and fixed my shit. I thought that's all it did, kind of like "unbind all". Then I found that my minimap is no longer functional for any server, I get unecessary lag, and it just seems that loading in between servers is slower than normal. So I pose a simple question: WHAT THE FUCK?

EDIT: I've tried just about everything and none of it's working....I really need suggestions.

delete your config.cfg file, it's in your config folder and then set your buttons again ;)

That should do it...

If that does not work, Creat a new config.cfg, leave it blank, and type in console "exec config". This should load a default setting and make your game defaulted as if you just bought it.

IF THAT DOESN'T WORK, reïinstall ;)

BTW! "exec config default" if the previous things before didn't work!

Well, I just tried all that; none of it worked...I'll reinstall but if it doesn't work, then I dunno.

EDIT: I finally got it to work; I had to reinstall steam...

all you do is you go back into console and do: exec config.cfg
