About LinkBacksWhen ever I turn on my computer it boots to my desktop background with only the Recycle bin. Everything is gone including the explorer bar. After turning my computer off and on again 4 times, it boots fine.
Can anyone explain?

What version of windows 7 do you have? Is it the RC?

open task manager and click new task and put "explorer.exe" and see if it does anything

Windows 7 Ultimate. It did this for a while back in October but then all of a sudden it stopped and was working perfectly. I didn't want to install my actual RC because of the time needed to transfer all of my files and programs. .
EDIT********: The moniter stopped recognizing my computer.. I unplugged the new HDMI cable I received today and now my computer works fine. wtf.Last edited by tinkerbell; 11 Feb 2010 at 04:50pm. Reason: dude, read the forum rules, discussion of this is prohibited
