What kind of video card to get?

I want to get a new video card for my computer seeing as my current one is crappy, But how do i know which one to get for my computer?

How do we find those? I am not that kind of person who knows that stuff >.<

Start > Run > dxdiag. It'd be nice to know your System Model, so we can know what your Mobo uses as a PCI-E slot. Also check the display tab to tell us what GPU you currently have.

It would also be great if you could tell us your Power Supply Wattage (you'll have to open your PC up for this and check what it says on the PSU, unless you bought a prebuilt PC from a company like HP, then give us the model details and a quick google find should give us the necessary information

It would depend on your PC specs and whether or not you wanted to get ATI or Nvidia. Personally, I like Nvidia. A GeForce 9800GT 1GB is about $110. That's the card I'm getting. It should get you pretty good FPS.

I still got the 8800 GT. Still runs most recent games full specs like a charm. I'm pretty sure you can get that for cheap nowadays.
