    Wirless Mouse Problems

So my wireless mouse stopped working yesterday. It's like it just died. I thought maybe it was the batteries, but I put new batteries in and the problem of it not working still occurred.

I have a feeling my drunk roommate came into the room and somehow broke it. Not sure how, I'm maybe thinking water damage?? Not sure though.

Is there any safe way of opening the mouse and cleaning it to try and get it working. I really don't want to buy a new wireless mouse, but I will if I must.

Anyways... any tips would be helpful. Thanks.

My apologies for being a noob on the subject, but how exactly would I go about doing that?

cleaning will not help it not connect to the computer.

You changed the batteries, so you're good there.

There should be a button on the bottom of the mouse somewhere, and on the usb dongle plugged into your computer. Unplug the usb dongle, plug it back in, in another usb slot, if possible. (If any show up)After windows says it has installed the drivers, hit the button on the dongle, and then on the mouse. You should be connected again. If not, the thing's broken.

I use a logitech wireless mouse. When I bought my computer from Dell online, I had it come with the computer. It was a package deal (wireless keyboard/mouse), but I will try unplugging the USB into a different port and see if that will fix the problem. I hope it does. I get off in a little less than 3 hours, so I won't know til' then. Thanks for the help guys.

Okay ill tell u what to do mate;P
    Step 1:
First of all u put ur all mouse on ur desk

    Step 2:
Then u buy this (its the Razer mabma, got it my self and after u used it u will never touch another mouse again)

Step 3: go find some chocolate, a hammer, some explosive and a box.

    step 4: eat the chocolate

step 5: Take the hammer and smash ur old mouse 3 times

step 6: Put the smashed mouse in the box, with the chocolate paper.

    step 7: blow it up!

after completing all the step, u will be a happy man with the worlds greatest wireless gaming mouse.

    Hope this helped!:D

Why are you scared of prying open your mouse? It's broken already. There is nothing to lose.

I have purchased a new wireless mouse from Microsoft. As much as I would like the Razor, I do not have $130 to spend on a mouse. I spent $25 as it is and I think that's a lot, haha.

But, my mouse is a goner. I think it has water damage. =(

It was a shitty mouse anyway! Haha...
