Help on new computer

Okay so I got my graphics card to day Gainward GeForce GTX 275 896MB PhysX and installed it, I turn on my pc, all works the fans on the graphics card works to, but I cant get a image on my screen plish help me out! (I know my screen isent broken)

-Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5, X58
-HDD: Western Digital Caviar® GreenPower 750GB
-Ram: Corsair Dominator DHX+ DDR3 1600MHz 6GB
-Prossesor: Intel Core™ i7 Quad Processor i7-920
-Graphics Card: Gainward GeForce GTX 275 896MB PhysX
-Pwrsuply: Chieftec Super Series 750W PSU
-CD thingy: Lite-On DVD+RW burner IHAS124-19
-Case: Cooler Master Gladiator 600 Midi Tower

what OS are you running?? Id suggest trying again with the on board graphics then if that works..try the other port on your card, you should have at least two!! ..if that doesnt work..I dont know.. make sure you have enough power to the card but if you didnt you should hear a loud beeping noise .. RMA maybe

I dont got a OS yet, I just finish building it today, 100% sure nothing is plugged wrong ( I followed all the instrucktions like hell) and every think seem to be working but no signal. what do u mean by port on the card?

Well a Graphic card usually has multiple dvi ports on the back where you plug in the monitor..I was suggesting to try a different one (mine has 2 and after a thunderstorm one stopped working)
And you Mobo should have onboard graphics! Try that port! see if anything happens

idk if this would be the problem but does your computer have the drivers for the old card installed?

obviously its not the problem as he already said he doesnt even have an OS on this new computer. RTFT or GTFO.

do you have an old card you can put in and see if that one works or cause you could have gotten a bad card

Does your motherboard have onboard video? What motherboard do you have? Because I have the Nvidia 790i which only has spdif for onboard, but luckily I got lucky and the video card worked on the first try.

Make sure it's in the PCI slot nice and snug?
