I have an OEM Windows 7 Disc, worth it to install?

So I bought x64 bit Vista and it came with a free Windows 7 x64 upgrade disc that I had to order for free. Anyway I was wondering if it is worth it to install it? I have a feeling that my wireless card won't work with it and then I won't be able to revert back to my Vista. Does OEM mean you can only install it once? ever?

I have also heard steam and its games don't like windows 7 very much, let alone Vista...:ohwell:

I just got Win7 and I dont think what you said is true !yes I had a hard time installing steam but Im pretty sure that cause I fucked up trying to put my old skins back on the new HDD.
That 7 upgrade disc if it is the same as mine you could buy CD keys from Wrathek and install it on as many computers as you want!!
Thats what I did for this one I bought the student "upgrade" disc when I realized it was only an upgrade I asked Wrathek for a key and in the end I paid 45 bucks for Win7 pro AND I LOVE IT!! and you could re use that same key if you disconnect the first computer from the internet I think but this might be wrong!

OEM means you can install on only 1 system...like you can install it on your computer but then you can just go ahead and install it on your friends....you can use the OEM as many time aas you want on your own computer but sometimes you will have to call microsoft and get your OEM to activate which isnt a big deal so and windows 7 will most likely work with your wireless i installed windows 7 on a friends laptop and it worked like a charm so...id say go ahead and upgrade to windows 7...but thats just me...oh and my steam works perfectly fine with windows 7 so..

Windows 7 runs games just fine, in some cases, better.

Windows 7 carries better multicore support so your computer's resources are more optimized for other tasks.

Alright, it's just an upgrade so luckily I don't have to backup everything, I'll do it tomorrow and let you guys know how it goes.

If I don't like it (which I don't think will happen) I can always put the OEM Vitsa back on.

windows 7 can use vista drivers if it has to to use devices, so you shouldnt have hardware support issues if your hardware worked in vista. assuming you are using the same 32 or 64 bit vista to windows 7 upgrading.

I built my new pc like 4 days ago, i put windows 7 (thanks to wrathek) on it and i love it. Not sure about oem, but windows 7 is really awesome.
