My poor computer...

My computer has recently gotten the blue screen of death.

I had some strange virus and everytime I tried to go into safe mode it would give me a blue screen telling me I had missing files.

So I searched a few ways to get into safe mod and one of them was manually going into safe mode. Well that was a mistake. Now my computer is always constantly trying to get into safe mode, which it can;t, even when I select start windows normally or last good configuration.

I'm going to twiddle around with it a little more. Ask a few of my tech buddies and if worse comes to worse, take it into a repair shop.

Any ideas you guys have would be much appreciated. Thanks!

i had the same thing as you, what i did was turn it off during a windows vista update and when i turned it on it would og to the blue screen
simplest solution is just reinstalling everything, its what i did

Use Hirens 10.1. I have used that disc too many times to count.

Good news.

I reformatted my computer and it's up and running again. I'll see you guys in game soon! :D

The only bummer was that Windows 7 is now my OS and for some reason my webcam/mic is not compatible with it. Which sucks. So no mic until I go buy a headset.

check your manufacturer for any driver updates. you can generally force 7 to use vista drivers (its basically what vista was supposed to be and operates under similar base architecture) you may even have limited luck using xp drivers for 7. just make sure you are using the right platform 32 bit or x86 is NOT compatible with 64 bit or x64 versions

I still have the blue screen and when ever im on youtube or downloading a map off the SG servers uess what it goes blue screen then i have to hold the power button to turn it off...can someone plz help

Asian you need to either one Go into safe mode search for viruses and that crap on your computer with your anti virus software. Or 2: Wipe your hard drive and re install it. Have fun :D
