I was watching the trailer on it and I like the whole aspect of it! After watching the new mad max movie I think I might just have to go out and watch this one.

    Chappie (2015)

    Quoted from IMDB here; http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1823672/

"In the near future, crime is patrolled by a mechanized police force. When one police droid, Chappie, is stolen and given new programming, he becomes the first robot with the ability to think and feel for himself."

I was anticipating this movie to be a little less as good as it turned out to be. Great movie in general view, at least what I think.

    "NO!"
    "I'll do it anyway!"

I have heard really bad things about this movie. They say it just goes on the cusp of actual AI and they were expecting more from the director. It looked good, but be careful because my favorite South African band is in it!!!!!

I actually watched this over the weekend. It wasn't bad, you have to kind of be a fan of the director as he does unique things in his movies. District 9 didn't get good reviews but it has its own following and I loved it.

Chappie follows the same kind of storyline that District 9 did but dove more into the social problems when dealing with something you don't understand or don't accept.

Probably the only part I really didn't like was the ending, it was a bit drawn out and I felt that it was just about too outrageous. Thats one of the things with this guy's stories and directing style, he can almost make you believe this happened or is possible.

TL;DR but do read, if you liked District 9 you should like Chappie.

I loved district 9 so that's good, still waiting for the sequel, "Three years. I promise." - Christopher Johnson. Will have to watch Chappie at some point
