Help me look for a network adapter

    Hi!

So a friend of mine has a Dell Inspiron 530 desktop. The network adapter is not working on it anymore and needs a new one. However, I am not sure what expansion port I can use..like is is a pci, pci e, pci x1 pci e x16.

    Anyone help pls!

    EDIT found it!!!

NOW my question is, what port should I use. Can anyone recommend me a card from amazon?

just use PCI, there is no reason to waste a PCIe on a NIC (or use the 1x slot)

Go for PCI, atleast for something as simple as a network card. You might want to leave that PCIe slot open for a new graphics card or something else ^^

You're probably good with this network card

Let me know if you bought it ;)
