My friend recommended this to me and told me to bare with it until the 12th episode or some shit and it gets really fucking good, up until that part it's decently slow, I almost stopped watching it but I made it there and it's hella worth it, gears are shifted and it's almost a different genre at that point
hack//sign trilogy is very similar to sword art, pretty sure it's kind of based off of it
on piece
attack on titan
cowboy bebop
fate/stay
fate/zero
full metal alchemist
death note
code geass
elfen lied
angel beats
#cowboybebopwillneverdie
Well, Coboy Bebop, Gurren Lagann, Baccano!, and, if you're feeling like taking a risk, Neon Genesis Evangelion.
My personal recomendations:
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, sub or dub, personally like dub cuz kyons voice is better
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, sub
Mirai Nikki (Future Diary), sub
Gurren Lagaan, sub or dub, dealers choice
Kill la Kill, sub only so far
Attack on Titan, dealers choice
FLCL, dub
Baccano, dub
Nichijou, sub only
Kotoura San, sub, fucking bipolar be warned

The only Anime I've ever fully watched every episode of is Elfen Lied, Trigun, and FMA.
Since no one has suggested Elfen Lied or Trigun, watch those. Trigun English dub is just as amazing as English Sub if you ask me lol, if not better because you get the full effect of Vash's comedy.
Cowboy Bepop neon genesis the memories ! Also Trigun is fantastic, world embryo is pretty good I haven't watched tokyo ghoul yet but from the Manga looks great if you like some gorey stuff. Persona 4 was good mystery type also nanatsu no taizai was a great manga so far the anime I'm sure is awesome
