    Comodo Anti Virus- http://www.comodo.com/products/free-products.php

(yet to use but seems like a really great antivirus)
I didn't just google this shit. I read quite a bit about this.
AVG blows dick MSE and Avast! are far better than that.

    MSE- http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/ (use and trust)
    Avast!- http://www.avast.com/free-antivirus-download (used and trusted)

That youtube downloader is useless unless your using IE, if you have chrome or firefox just get a greasemonkey script like this one http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/25105 (use and trust)

Speccy- http://download.cnet.com/Speccy/3000...-75181811.html shows you what parts are in your computer, could be useful in the tech support section such as asking for a screenshot of the main page which shows parts and stuff. (use and trust, its by the people who made ccleaner)

Gentoo GNU/Linux works for me and is useful.

Jokes aside, real suggestion (agree with PowerNos):
MSE is the best AV, really. It's not the lightest AV, but it's pretty damn decent. Used along with Common-Sense 2010, people I install it for have never gotten a single virus.
If Common-Sense 2010 crashes, MSE usually catches all the backlash.

    CCleaner - http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner
Cleaner is the number-one tool for cleaning your Windows PC. It protects your privacy online and makes your computer faster and more secure. Easy to use and a small, fast download.
    Daemon tools - http://www.daemon-tools.cc/eng/home
Most popular product that offers easy tools for making simple disc image files and emulating virtual CD/DVD drives.
    DiskMax - http://www.koshyjohn.com/software/diskmax.html
finds and removes unnecessary files that slow down your system.

Rainmeter - http://rainmeter.net/RainCMS/ - Just used it, Its bad Windows Gadgets are better - Tinkerbell

Rainmeter is a desktop customization platform. Through Rainmeter, you can enhance your Windows computer at home or work with skins: handy, compact applets which float freely on your desktop, much like Windows Sidebar gagdgets, or dashboard widgets for the Mac. Rainmeter skins provide you with useful information at a glance. It's easy to keep an eye on your system resources, like memory and battery power, or your online data streams, including email, RSS feeds, and weather forecasts. Many skins are even functional: they can record your notes and to-do lists, launch your favorite applications, and send your tweets to Twitter - all in a clean, unobtrusive interface that you can rearrange and customize to your liking.

    ObjectDock - http://www.stardock.com/products/objectdock/

ObjectDock™ is a program that enables users to organize their shortcuts, programs and running tasks into an attractive and fun animated Dock. By allowing users to have more control over how they organize their desktop, users can take control of their desktop icons and shortcuts to have them be available when where and how they need them. With ObjectDock, you can make your computer more usable, and more fun at the same time!

    Fences - http://www.stardock.com/products/fences/

Is a program that helps you organize your desktop and can hide your icons when they are not in use.

    EDIT:

Forgot to add one of the very useful ones.

    Process explorer - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/s.../bb896653.aspx

Ever wondered which program has a particular file or directory open? Now you can find out. Process Explorer shows you information about which handles and DLLs processes have opened or loaded.

The Process Explorer display consists of two sub-windows. The top window always shows a list of the currently active processes, including the names of their owning accounts, whereas the information displayed in the bottom window depends on the mode that Process Explorer is in: if it is in handle mode you'll see the handles that the process selected in the top window has opened; if Process Explorer is in DLL mode you'll see the DLLs and memory-mapped files that the process has loaded. Process Explorer also has a powerful search capability that will quickly show you which processes have particular handles opened or DLLs loaded.

The unique capabilities of Process Explorer make it useful for tracking down DLL-version problems or handle leaks, and provide insight into the way Windows and applications work.

    Everything
    http://www.voidtools.com/

Its a tool that searches your computer for the file name you ask for. Good if you have a large amount of files like me on your computer that you can forget where you put easy.

    Teamviewer
    http://www.teamviewer.com/index.aspx

Lets you see or control someone's computer from your own.

    Media Player Classic
    http://mpc-hc.sourceforge.net/

Good video player and can play .mkv videos with subs that vlc can't unless there was some extra things to install on vlc i didn't look into.

    Zoom Player

    http://www.inmatrix.com/files/zoomplayer_download.shtml

Same as Media Player Classic just different look and controls. I like this for the playlist that sits next to where the video plays, but i still use both.
