cp_lets_plays_tf2_v1


Before you read any further, this map REQUIRES a RESPAWN PLUGIN. The one I have on my server can be found HERE (RESPAWN SCRIPT) I have the following cvars for that script set as so on my server in a map config and unload it in the server.cfg:

      • sm_ar_enable 1
      • ar_respawn_delay 5
      • ar_respawn_msgs 0
      • ar_dissolve_ragdolls 1



Finally after endless hours of trying to get this map finished, im glad to announce the release of cp_lets_play_tf2_v1. This is a control point map (like the ones in tf2) where one team is attacking while the other defends. The attacking team must cap all 3 points in a timelimit, while the defenders must hold them off until the timer hits 0.

Please do not rename the map as it will mess up the custom textures. Its cp_ prefix just in case more of these maps start appearing. But this will still be on minigames servers.


About The Map

  • Attacking/ Defending team swapper every round.
  • Seven classes to choose from.
  • 3 Control points (A, B and C).
  • Numerous teleport exit locations for engineer to set up.
  • Count down timer in skybox and at spawn.
  • Health Kits around the map.
  • Ammo Kits around the map.
  • Controllable teleport locations for engineer.
  • 4 minute round timer.
  • 4 additional minutes added to the clock once a point has been fully capped.
  • 60 second capping timer on each point.
  • 3D Skybox.
  • Custom radar map overview.
  • Tf2 like weapon strip on round win/lose.

    This map requires team work and co-operation, when we was beta testing on a 30-40 slot server the map was as balanced as it probably will get.
