Ok, ive made this clear but, lots of people ask for my help when mapping but tutorials are all you need for help. To start, im going to give you some links to tutorials that i used when i first started and found very helpful, however, you can always google up things like "Hammer Tutorials" "Source SDK tutorials" "Making a CSS map" "Making a hl2 map" ect.

This is the official tutorial site for Source SDK made by valve. Its like wikipedia so many many articles have been added by mappers to help other mappers out. You just need to search for whatever you want to learn like "Lightning" or "HDR lighting" or "Sounds". Id say this would be the most helpful site for you inspiring mappers.
Again, there are lots of tutorials out there for you guys. I rememeber a friend who helped me with mapping a lot showed me a funny video tutorial of a guy making map who would occasionally mess up and say stuff like "Damn! I accidently did ______ when i was supposed to do ______." So there are some good tuts out there, ya just need to look for them.
Use this thread to post tutorials for other people as well.
