    Twice as much credits on low-pop hours?

    Why not motivate our players to play more on less popular gaming hours? Such as 3:00 AM - 9:00 AM? By doing this, we would motivate our players to help the servers to get populated 24/7 again. Or we could allso go by, twice as much credits if you play when the server have less than 10% players?

    Maybe there could be a better way to do this, but it should contribute a lot to the server population.

    2 problems I thought up instantly:

    1. People will quickly get bored if they are constantly on consuming time they could spend elsewhere, and then probably miss the peak hours.

    2. Some who can't access CS:S at the times that double credits are given out(usually at the same time every day) would get rather annoyed with the unfair reward.
    In SG ze I have a reputation for dying out of nowhere..... people think god hates me.

    This is what the x2 credit gain would make up for. Allso, this would hopefully generate peak hours, on the low-pop hours. Hopefully maybe 5 players would get on ZE, to farm the x2 credits, and before you know it, the server will have 20 players when it's 4.00 AM. In other words, would reward and motivate those who want to populate the servers.

    It's unfair because some people can't get on when there is a chance to have double credits, not because they can't be bothered to help...

    All I can say is I hope by now people are playing because they want to play, not for some monopoly money.

    It's a great thought to try to spice up the servers during the "dead" hours; but there is a reason they are dead - people are sleeping, school, work, and so on. Like Hunter stated: It sort of is unfair that those whom are up at unusual hours get this benefit simply because of the time-frame alloted, why are these individuals getting special treatment for playing when others simply can't get on during that time, not because they don't choose to play at that time.

    And also your 3-9 AM differs from mine, so that could possibly get messy anyways.

    (I don't like how you used the term "farm credits" because it immediately makes me think negative thoughts, but I'm sure you didn't mean it that way.)

    Sure, I could have used a better term than "farm credits". Otherwhise, I guess I was in the wrong, my bad.

    In no way were you in the wrong. It's a great idea to try to populate servers during dead hours, it's just there are other variables.

    As Wicked said, one of the main problems with this are the different time zones. It does sound like a good idea though. Or every Friday/Saturday night it could be double credits on one specific server to get the unpopular servers more populated or something like that.
