Love FF7 so much, graphics wise it looks bad now, but when the game came out it was amazing! (the hands are part of the charm of the game)

I would love to see a remake, but i'd fear they'd screw it up somehow. Incidently, they made some FF7 set games on the psp i think

And I personally think there's no way SqEnix would ever fuck that up. They'd spend 10 years in production before they'd fuck it up. A remake of this game would make or break that company, even after all of their success.

From what I saw, FF7 and FF8 along with FF9 as well, all lacked in graphics but made up for it in story, along with the overall look of the game AND the CGI's.

Such as in FF7, FF8 the Limit breaks look absolutely awesome even if it's in bad graphics there's so much action in it, it makes you want to execute them over and over again.

The bossfights remained epic, such as Ultimecia in FF8 having over 600,000 HP, Omega Weapons being led through the entire series as the hardest bosses in the game also added onto the fact of enjoying the game more. Cause as soon as you're run into them you're like 'OSHIT ITS OMEGA WEAPON' and already know you're in deep shit.


All the side quests in FF's made it all the more enjoyable, having to 'unlock' the best weapons rather than just getting them randomly as you play along like some RPG games for PS. Along with stuff that isn't just 'go forth and kill 10 of so-so mob and come back for exp and potions' it was 'GO FORTH AND GET THE GOLDEN CHOCOBO'.


Also not to mention finding what Role Cid plays gives funniness to the games. (For those who didn't notice, in every single FF there's a character named Cid, except in the later ones I think...



Overall, for me, it's the crappy graphics that give the game its original look. Nowadays every RPG for the computer or sometimes even PS2/PS3 looks the same overall, and being able to Customize actually pisses me off, I prefer having a character have a bad-ass look through the entire game rather than starting off with crappy looks then having to get better looks as you progress.



I guess I should answer your question, they already made FF7 again but it's through the eyes of Vincent, it's something with Cerberus in it's name. Out for the PS2.
