When will Halo Wars come out?

Since i played all three halo games(on legendary,btw) and i heard that it should come out somewhen in spring 2008,i was waiting for it.
And it didnt came out
Does somebody knows the publication date?

That was deleted a thew weeks back after Microsoft pulled the plug and said they were closing the place down after halo wars.

The game will be Fail. Come on they shut down the studio making the game. That has to tell you something about the people making the game.

And Halo will just suck as a RTS.

Why? It has as good a concept of any of the others and has a large fan-base already.

It has a large fan base because Microsoft shoved it down everyone's throat. Halo was THE selling point for the Xbox, and they made damn fucking sure everyone knew it too. It also turned out to be a watered down, mediocre game, but since console players never really had a good FPS (except maybe Goldeneye for the N64) they praised it as the second coming of Jesus.

Now Master Chief has become the Mario of the Xbox, being plastered in every fucking genre they can think of to generate a little more income without doing any actual work. Let's be honest now, FPSs don't work that well on consoles in comparison to PCs, but RTSs and MMOs (as pictured above) work even less on a console. Last I heard they have more Halo games in development as well. Master Chief is officially the red headed step-child.

I don't mean to be so negative, but the only time Halo looked good was before Microsoft bought Bungie.
