Atix apocalypse removal

Simply put the map can't safely be played without an admin, it's just far too easy for people to glitch the nuke sometimes not even voluntarily and survivors usually can't do anything about it. Zombies especially are vulnerable to getting shot into a shrooms-land teleporter and running out of !zteles to get out again. Half the rounds I played wound up with two unreachable groups of people just bored out of their minds waiting for the round to time out.

If there was even so much as a quick and easy way out of Shrooms land, or if the nuke hit there, I'd say it's fine but wierd as all hell but without either...

No. This map is good, and if there are these issues with it we could try and contact ATIX and get him to simply make some changes. Removal for these issues isnt fair to the players that enjoy it.

Template kept giving me a 503 error for some reason, possibly on my end, and bad dog that's what I'd personally really like to see happen. It's just that in the meantime without an admin (or with a lax one) you can wind up with almost every round ending with two groups of people who can't reach each other waiting out the last minute and a half bored out of their minds.

Now if an admin's around naturally you can teleport a CT out into a relatively empty part of the map or remind zombies to ztele, or if it's after the nuke went off just kill everyone in shroomland, but I think the reaction of "Thank god your here KILL ME PLEASE" when I joined teh other day kinda says it all.

i think the map should be looked over by atix and but into a beta.

I posted my concerns in the Opinion ATIX thread in the zombie escape forum, it really does need some more work before it should be considered a good map on our server.

Who even added a broken beta map onto the map list, thats the question. I only uploaded it for a quick beta for atix, was never intended to go on the map rotation.

btw My opinion on new Atix map so far here is where alot of us Escape Regulars are posting what is wrong with this map.

If ATIX just fixes this room it would be a perfect map. This is what everyone is complaining about, their isn't a problem with anything else besides this one room that everyone seems to hate. I am not sure why people say "Please get me out of here..." especially when several of the people that were stuck in there went in multiple times and knew it was a trap. If this room just could get the nuke to or just be taken out then that would make this map so much better. Overall this map, in my opinion, is a great map.

And then you still have the instant-kill door, the water coming up when it's a truck escape, the "new" helicopter being abysmally undersized, and the map (randomly?) being waaay too dark in wierd ways.
