Just wondering if anyone here has an fps issue with CS:GO. Every once in a while my fps would be at around 250 then dip down to the 20s whenever shit starts happening. Any fixes out there?

if you have a poo poo video card than you're gonna have to crank down your video settings, often lots of shooting/smokes/explosions can cause some serious FPS drops. Also certain maps just seem to create FPS problems depending on where you are on the map. Are we just talking in SG servers or in casual/comp?

Mostly SG Minigames/Jailbreak. My video settings in CS:GO is on Low.

Been playing Witcher 3 at High-Ultra settings for the past few days with my current specs.

It might just be the maps. Wondering if there might be any startup/launch or console commands I need to put in.

Go ahead and try this because my set up

MSI GTX 970
AMD 8350
OCZ 700w
G.Skill Sniper Series 2x4gb.

I get at least 200+ in the zombie escape instead of 50 or lower. I gave up on the quality of CSGO because fuck them and several maps continue to mess it up. At least you don't have to experience the lag when people throw too many grenades.

This always happens with Nvidia GPU, after you update it several times.

Clean uninstall your GPU drivers and reinstall the newest ones.

Nvidia always had shit drivers
