I find it sad the voters bashed the hell out of what seemed to be a very ingenious set of reforms and taxes, but jumped right on board for halting government employee's pay. Or was it elected officials only?

Californians are pretty much retarded. I know because I live there. They're rejecting budget reform because we think too much in the now and not in the future. It's sad imo, we'll won't do anything until it is too late.
