You should make it a requirement to have a screenshot of what the console said rather than copying and pasting logs. They can easily manipulated with. If an appeal just has copied and pasted text from a log, you should just ignore it and reject the appeal. Not that hard to get a screenshot of the console. Prevents morons like the guy today from trying to make admins look bad.

well I have seen threads where somebody gives a copy paste job as evidence and they are punished

I can't save a screenshot when console open for some reason.

I always end up just taking screenshots of people who type things out in game anyways, and I only copy the person's SteamID.

A screenshot is just as easy as a log to fake, just takes a little more time.

I don't think we've ever accepted a copy and paste job as evidence for a ban. Screen Shots and demos (along with other video such as FRAPS) are the only form of evidence we accept. If there was a case were the person appealed that the evidence was fake we would go into the server logs.

just type "jpeg" while in the console to save a screenshot with it up.
