Try to focus on one thing (aka the focal :D) and just tone it down a bit looks like a little too much is going on.

They're both good but have a little bit too much going on. If I were to pick a favourite, it would have to be the first one.

I like my stuff to my nice and clean. Not to much going on. I would go with the first one, but tone it down some. Also play with the fonts for your name and try something diff then the stock font.
