Yeah I know its not even Halloween yet but theres alot of good movies to look forward to next year.

January 9th
Hellraiser - Clive Barker is producing this one. Not a whole lot of information has been released, it could fall through but who knows we might be surprised with an early horror flick.

January 23rd
Underworld: Rise of the Lycans - Prequel that covers the story of alot of the "older" characters. Looks to evolve around the battles of Lucian and Viktor. No word if Kate Beckansale is going to reprise her role but as of now she is not on the cast list.

February 13th
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/c/cb/Friday_the_thirteenth.jpg/200px-Friday_the_thirteenth.jpg - From the guy that brought us the redux of Texas Chainsaw, is bringing us revision of Jason Voorhees. This movie is taking the first 3 movies and merging them into one.

February 27th
Street Fighter: The Legend of Chung-Li - This movie obviously follows Chung-Li who is played by Smallville star Kristin Kreuk. Ryu and Ken will not be apart of this movie. Notables are Michael Clark Duncan as Balroog, Robin Shoe (from Mortal Combat fame) as Gen and Taboo (Black Eyed Peas) as Vega.

March 6th
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/b/b7/Watchmen_poster.jpg/200px-Watchmen_poster.jpg - Many of us that watched the previews before Dark Knight got to see the trailer of this movie. I am very interested in this one. Its set in an alternate 1985 where Nixon is still president and Cold War tensions are highter than they were after the Bay of Pigs incident.

March 27th - My bday btw.
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/6/6e/Monsters_Vs_Aliens_characters_promo.jpg/200px-Monsters_Vs_Aliens_characters_promo.jpg - Monsters vs Aliens - All star cast from the makers of Shrek. Kinda funny for all the fans of the series House. Hugh Laurie does a voice of a doctor in this film.

April 3rd
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/3/3c/Dragonballposternewty5-1.jpg/200px-Dragonballposternewty5-1.jpg - Yup, your eyes are not messing with you. Dragonball has made it to the big screen in a live action format. Goku is played by a smaller named actor but still seen alot in the TV series Lost and Weeds. Ernie Hudson (Ghostbusters 2) plays Master Mutaito and Chow Yun-Fat as Master Roshi.

May 1st
X-men Origins: Wolverine - Hugh Jackman reprises his role in this prequel. Set 17 years prior to X-Men, mainly follows the Wolverine and William Stryker story. Sabertooth is also involved.

May 8th
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/0/0f/StarTrekComicConposter.jpg/200px-StarTrekComicConposter.jpg - The prequel to the original series. If you don't know about this you've been living under a rock the past year or 2. We all become trekkies again soon!

May 15th
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/9/9c/A%26D.jpg/200px-A%26D.jpg - Prequel to The Da Vinci Code. This is one of my favorite books. Hopefully the movie won't let me down.

May 22nd
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/1/1b/Terminator_salvation.jpg/200px-Terminator_salvation.jpg - The continuation of the series. This time Christain Bale plays John Connor. This will the be the first one with out the "Governator". The terminator is played by Sam Worthington. This one is set in 2018 and revolves around the first battles between humans and Skynet.

June 12th
The A Team - Yes, you read right. None of the cast has been confirmed yet but they are looking at Woody Harrelson as Murdock, Ice Cube as B.A. and Bruce Willis as Hannibal. The movie is set around the first Gulf War.

June 19th or 5th
The Year One - Harold Ramis'(Ghostbusters/Stripes/Knocked Up) latest work. I always love stuff he directs and writes. This movie is gonna be simular to how Monty Python did stuff way back in the 70's. Stars Jack Black, Michael Cera, David Cross, Hank Azaria and Christopher Mintz-Plasse (McLovin!). The movie theme is early biblical history.

June 26th
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/9/96/TFROTFlogo.JPG/225px-TFROTFlogo.JPG - The sequel to the blockbuster hit Transformers. Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox return as well as Steven Spielburg and Michael Bay to their repective posts. Not too much is known about this film other than the "stakes are much higher" and the threat is more globally.

July 17th
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince - The delayed release of this film will have people waiting in anticipation 6 months longer than they first expected. The story sets the final stage and reveals to Harry Potter what he must do to finally defeat Lord Voldermort.

August 7th
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/2/28/Gijoefilm.jpg/200px-Gijoefilm.jpg - Live Action film set 10 years in the future with the Cobra Corporation rising to power.

November 6th
A Christmas Carol - A 3D CGI Animated movie directed by the guy who directed the Back to the Future series. The movie's graphical look will be like the recent Beowulf movie was (which was phenominal). This movie will star Jim Carrey doing the voices of Scrooge and the 3 ghosts.

December 18th
Avatar - James Cameron's long awaited visual opus. Lots of talk has been going on about this movie for more than a decade. This movie is supposed to set the CGI bar for the next decade. The rumored budget for this CGI movie is $300 Million. The motion capture was made with this new Fusion digital 3-D camera which is supposed enhance the visual output when converted to CGI will look lifelike. The movie itself is a futuristic story line where peoples bodies are being possessed by aliens called avatars.

Thank god you didn't forget about putting Terminator, it won't be as cool without Arnold. I hope Christian Bale kind of balances that out.

P.S: I want another SST that doesn't suck (SST2) and isn't corny (SST3). :_(

I have a feeling Terminator will flop big time. I can't see them making anything interesting post-Judgement Day except for maybe witnessing the immediate aftermath and how the humans band together. The only thing the movie has going for it to me is current CGI technology.

I haven't seen the original Hellraiser or the original Friday the 13th, so I can't say too much on that. I can only take from precedence, which is that they won't be as good as the originals... but really, who knows. Hollywood seems to be getting their shit together.

I can't imagine anyone taking DragonBall seriously, not even the actors. It's like making a live action version of South Park, except South Park doesn't take itself seriously.

We'll have to see what Saw V is like before saying anything about VI, what with the different director and all. If you haven't seen it yet, Youtube has the pendulum trap from Saw V. I think a new director is what the series needed to breathe some new life into it, unless Hackl is just going to copy the same old formula as the other 4 movies, which isn't a bad thing per say, but by now the series is losing it's impact or has already lost it.

Another Jason movie? Fucking hell, haven't there already been about 10?

Well this movie will be the beginning of the story line re-done. Its supposed to be more of a story horror instead of a stalk and kill horror.
