Ok, i was just wondering, why this mute thing is on pb servers? Being dead is boring and in pb its more boring, bc can't talk to other dead ppl. And those muted/unmuted spams the chat.

So can it be deleted? please?

its to stop people crying when they get killed over the mic. Without it, every time a t died, he would be complaining about why he died, what the ct did wrong, etc

is it possible to mute mic, but not text? Alive people cant see what dead people write, so no ghosting and we who always die in the start can chat =)

the amount of shit I hear the round after something happened is enough, let alone when someone has just been freekilled and their pissed off.

it gives them time to cool down and to move on..

what daZe said. but also, if someone gets killed and they think its wrong, they interrupt the game play that's still going on and the T's won't hear the CT's talking. so to be honest, it's a good idea. but Repus, your an admin, you don't get muted. why does this apply to you?

It's there to reduce the QQing. The server tends to attract many assholes, retards, and especially drama queens. Imagine hearing them dead!! the server would crash.

Every single goddamn time a T dies it's 'FREEKILLERRRRRRR'. Therefore, not letting them talk while they're dead and interrupting people playing is actually very relaxing and nice.


And we have the messages so that people don't spam 'OMG WHY COULDNT I TALK WTF GLITCHY BUGGY SERVER FUCKING SUCKS OMG'.

Yeah, well i don't complain as much now that i died. I think the mute script should stay but dead ppl should be able to chat together.

No the server wouldn't crash. I have lately been getting free killed alot and it's not cool and i want to explain to others to voteban but no one will help me unless they r freekilled as well. I also see why there is a after death mute but i think we should be able to type to others that r dead.
