If you ever get the chance listen to some Protest the Hero, its pretty intense the first time around but once you get going while playing its just really epic and fun.

Bloodmeat, Goddess bound, and Sequoia Throne are all badass!

Although I agree, recut/remixed for battle scenes these songs would be awesome, Dream Theater seems to have longer instrumental sequences in their songs
