Not sure but is it made to look like a tank. Also slap clay on it I think that would so look much better then the paint just a suggestion.

You're a madman Juku, it would be too bulky and heavy with clay, but I do have a solution to the tape showing up with the paint... I'm just not quite sure what to use yet.

Don't get me wrong or anything because I'm talking about the soft clay that doesn't actually harden like rock. Though I guess paint is the better choice since it is cheaper and more efficient to use (time wise).
