Oh boy..

I think the biggest surprice here is that it runs crysis in 2560x1600 with an avg. fps of 38. That's something :D

And it scores 21,308 in the newest 3DMark - The 3DMark Vantage.

1) What is the big thing about Crysis? My 2-year-old PC ran it with ease.
2) What is 3DMark?
3) No u.

Thou speak'st in riddles!

1: Yes, but I bet it didn't run it at very high @ 2560x1600?

2:
3DMarkŪ Vantage
3DMarkŪ Vantage is the new industry standard PC gaming performance benchmark from Futuremark, newly designed for Windows Vista and DirectX10. It includes two new graphics tests, two new CPU tests, several new feature tests, and support for the latest hardware. 3DMarkŪ Vantage is based on a completely new rendering engine, developed specifically to take full advantage of DirectX10, the new graphics API from Microsoft.

3: No all of us.

The point of 3DMark is to have solid numbers to compare different graphics cards with. Yeah, you can do that with the manufacturer specs that you'll find on their website, but then you're dealing with multiple numbers instead of one solid number that's founded purely on graphics card performance and not it's features.

Well Havok i think Crisis is the game with the best potential graphics out there right now, so people usualy compare their cards to see which one is the best.

And right now no graphic card can run it with the best graphics and get good fps. i got Crisis too, my comp is 1 year old and i spent almost 1300$ on it, and i had to run the game on low to get anywhere close to 40 fps.

And concerning that Geforce...

I wantz it!!!

i got a EVGA GTX 280 FTW with Intel Q9450
sad part is my gfx card is on 2d idle mode when i run cs:s, since it uses mainly cpu power
but battlefield 2142 is awesome with everything on high, i got killed just standing still staring at how awesome the vehicles looked now
i play at 1920x1200 just for fun, usually i like a 4:3 ratio at 1024x768, easier to keep track of everything, less mouse distance to move

*fun fact, if you ln2 a QX9650, you can reach speeds of up to 5.0GHz

and of course, im not goin go near ln2, prob end up like in t2 and spill it all over myself
