Hey,
Can we get it so map votes don't start with a map in the number 1 slot please. People just spam 1 a lot regardless of if the map is good or not, would help to make people think :D

Options 1-3 used to be removed and it did help. I wonder why we stopped doing that.
An anonymous gaming community did this on their servers, but people still voted for the first map that they saw on the top (if options 1-3 were invalid, they would choose option 4). What I've never seen, probably because it doesn't exist, is a voting menu that displays options horizontally instead of vertically. A table format would definitely be a solution to the problem, but again, I don't think it exists.

The solution would be to make it 24x7 Helms Deep...just saying ;)

I think we should enable the following cvars:
sm_mapvote_runoff - Hold run of votes if winning choice is less than a certain margin
sm_mapvote_runoffpercent - If winning choice has less than this percent of votes, hold a runoff
Bascially the winning vote requires XX% of the vote to win (say 75%) and if not it will take the top choices and hold another random vote between them.
This should keep people from spamming 1 or any other map.
Does that include the run-off votes? It's pretty annoying that a map is picked because of a single vote difference.

Indeed :o
Also, would it be possible to add more of a map-delay to previously played maps? (for example, a map cannot be replayed for 6 games instead of 4, dunno how much it is now exactly tho)
I find that the ZE server has just been running on a loop of the same maps lately...
I've increased the exclude previous maps from 5 to 7 and the run off vote is currently set to 50%, meaning that the map with the most votes must have at least 50% of the total vote count for it to win. Otherwise it should go to a run off vote.
