Title says it all.

As far as I can remember, I've been playing PC games for about 21 years now; it all started on my father's old Packard Bell. My first PC game was Duke Nukem II (Solitaire doesn't count!).

How about everyone else?

Around 2004. Got Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. Loved that shit, I was always bad though.

Around 2005-2006. Got HL2:DM. Played the shit out of it.

2008ish - Curious me found a cracked steam program called PacSteam. Let me install most of the Source games and play on cracked servers. Played in a cracked ZM/ZE server for a while.

Made a new account and bought the Orange Box + GMod around 2009.

Since idk maybe 02/03.. Been playing CS ever since Steam launched. Still remember living up in Seattle and going to CS1.6 LAN Parties/Tournaments. I remember a group of female gamers showed up and all the guys thought they sucked and then the girls wiped the floor.

Think of it as 5 GE's in CSGO vs 5 Novas. (Girls are the GE's.) The one player's face will never leave my head.

Oh geez probably Age of the Empires or Roller Coaster Tycoon. Day of Defeat was a big one (pre-steam cause Steam ruined it...) that ultimately led me to Steam and then to CS:S.

Dear GOD I'm fucking OLD!

First DOS based game was Spelunker in 1983, and no that's not a typo. The next year I spent way too much time playing Karateka.

I hate threads like this because they just point out the fact that I was gaming before a lot of you were even sperm in your daddy's nut sack!

Counterstrike 1.6 is the first PC game I played/bought as far as I can remember. They were hosting a LAN-tournament in my town with prizes so at the age of 14 I was all focused on the game and even managed to win the LAN-tournament in my town. I've had two steam accounts, my oldest one being from 2004 but it was hacked in 2006/2007 and that's where I created the account I currently still play vidyagames on. So I'm playing PC games for around 10 years now.

Commodore 64 (C64) - Xmas 1993 - Game: Wonderboy (first one to load up correctly). Still got the machine + hundreds of tape games, disks, carts and backup machines (3 of them - just in case). Made 11 games + 5 demos (tech ones), and various SID tracks on the C64 afterwards.

THE FUCKING COMMODORE! Damn man, do they still work decently? (I say that cuz I know they don't age well) I have yet to find one that doesn't have a completely broken keyboard or floppy disk drive (whatever it's called)...or even working at all lol.

Oh yeah and my first game was I think Army men: Sarge's heroes in like 2004. It is released as a N64 game but also for the pc.

I don't remember how old I was but I was definitely under 10 years old when I started PC gaming. My first game was Road Rash! I miss that game so much... I can't find it anywhere online. If anyone knows where I can play it then I'd be so grateful :') I wanna re-live those fun moments of whipping people with a chain while trying to get to first place LOL

My first PC game was either a Jedi Knight series game (Think Dark Forces II) or Delta Force: Black Hawk Down. Can't really remember which one was the first but it was like around early 2000's. So maybe like a little over 10-13 years of PC gaming, I was in my early-mid teens.

First time I touched a computer was 10 years ago when my brother was playing 1.6. Fucking faggot would let me barely play.
Edit: Back then I was more of a gameboy/nintendo kid and slowly adapted to playstation and xbox, but thank to 1.6 I accepted the PC maestro race and got myself a computer instead of a console.

I don't actually remember when I started playing, but I still remember the day that I got my first Playstation 1, sometime back when I was around 5 years old I believe. But it wasn't before 2004 when CS:CZ was released I started playing on a more regular basis, CS:S was the first game that I ever started playing competitively that much I can remember.

I believe the first game that I ever played was either Pokemon Red/Blue or Digimon World, but as I said I can't perfectly remember.
