So, I'm very aware that my country may be a buttload smaller when I get home later this month -

For those who don't know: There is a referendum to be held on the 18th to decide whether Scotland should secede from the United Kingdom and form an independent country.

Current polls:

ICM - Y:49%, N:42%
Survation - Y:46%, N:54%
Opinium - Y:47%, N:53%

So, it's looking close, how's are other UK folks feeling about this?

What will this change though, as a non-Englishman? Besides the obvious.

How is are you?

Generally Scotland makes up a fair proportion of the left wing vote, without them, most parties are likely to swing further to the right to appeal to the middle-englanders

I guess we (Irish) are still the only independent Celtic country.. All that fear & scare tactics really paid off.
