For Zombie Survival add in these maps and get rid of the current crop. Ravenholm only really has one spot, and the other map had no real props for barricading.

Is it possible to limit Slender to 60 minutes in total play length regardless of how many rounds are left? I know people like it, but 6 rounds, at 20 minutes each leaves it on for 2 hours, where the server should really be quick firing modes.

I think it's fine as it is, we're all new to it so we are not very good at being slender/finding pages. I think once we get better we will only take like ten minutes per round.

As for M2M, time needs to be longer, and ropes need to be banned. Every round someone lags it out with them.

Also I would like the admin votes to only count as one. I find it kinda bullshit that 3 admins can just overrule 6 players, or give this ability to SUP and REGs too. Admins choices of games are no better than mine, and it does not in any way help them do their admining job.

Yeah your right it wouldnt be fair for people without mics so I removed it.
Also some tools like rope should be restricted in Melons 2 Melons

No way am I adding Stranded. It requires a long base time to be up and could be up for hours. No way to change gamemode without forcing an RTV which could be devastating in the grand scheme of things.

Melon racer 13 is broke. Already tried.

Melon tank is the only one I'd potentially try when I get time.

Its like killing floor in gmod. It looks awesome for a server like this, it seems very multi-game-ish. I think we should try it at least.

Although it didn't last on a server by itself, I think we should have cinema on the server, since people can choose it and I'm sure it will get picked sometimes. Having it on a server by itself didn't work, but having it on this server, where people can choose it, I feel it would be a success. I mean I'm sure people want to play cinema, but be able to play other things and not have to leave the server. I have a few other people as well who said they would like to see it on the server.

I think Elevator lands under the same category as cinema... It's just a map, not even a gamemode. You can't use mics, and you're forced to sit and watch the same floors you've always seen, people vote for it just to spite other people. Any chance of it being removed?

Not really, I'll admit that elevator is pretty bad, but not cinema. To have cinema on a server by itself, yes, it is pretty bad, but there's been times where older members have said while on TTT... "Wow, I wish we could start an event once a month on Cinema, it's fun, not so much on a regular basis, but every now and then" and newer members who say "Wow, I wish I could have got the chance to be able to play on this server with people, AWW SHUCKS".





What I'm trying to say is, if we put it on multi-gamemodes, people can choose cinema when they want, and I'm sure it won't be chosen on a regular basis, but at least maybe once or twice a week. Anyways, I doubt it would take a lot to put it on the server, seeing as we have already set it up on a server before. One or two maps isn't a lot either.

The toilet gamemode was broken and utter bollocks.

Quake3 is ridiculous. There are near 2000 content files to be downloaded. What the fuck..? It refused to work and I'm sorry, but I'm not wasting my time and yours on this gamemode lol. If you wanna play quake 3 go play quake 3 :s

Runner is just soooooo bad. Like, the gamemode looks like it was scripted by some 14 year old with a week off school. There's nothing to it. The sprint is retarded, the double jump pointless. The game is boring and broken. No thanks.


Hunger mode looks broken as hell too by the way. I didn't test it but reading the workshop, it requires some extra stuff which I cba to go hunting around for.

The survivalist gamemode I didn't try either. It looks broken judging by the comments in the workshop, where the npcs don't really respond that well. I just don't see any point in adding this when we have Zombie survival which in 100x better.

Perhaps flood? That's surely one hell of a funny mode where you have 2 main rounds (Build and Fight). The objective is to create a boat from the props available to you and sink the other players boats before they sink yours.

AFAIK there is no complete list of all of the maps on the server right now, and of course we haven't played all of those on there to see, however I know that they aren't going to be suitable for playing zombie survival. If you have a complete list I will look for you and see which ones are suitable.

I will preface what i'm about to say here with some info. I've played a LOT of Zombie Survival on various servers, including a good portion of time on HellsGamers. I know from my experience on these servers what makes a good map, and what dosent.

My issues with them are NOT that i dislike the maps, the issue is that they are not suitable for the Zombie Survival gamemode. A successful map needs lots of different cading areas, along with a good number of props to cade with. Of the 3 i've played so far on the server only one (Ravenholm) actually had props to cade a single room, and the other two (thevillage and aidstransit) had no props to make a realistic barricade with at all. Ravenholm was unsuitable as the very small number of props can be torn apart by a nightmare with ease.I imagine this is the case with a lot of the maps that are on there unfortunately.

The maps i provided have plenty of locations, plenty of props to barricade with AND are popular enough to draw people to the server.

On a second note, would it be possible to add in a "Points Saving" feature. It would simply keep your points between the different map changes instead of starting you over from scratch. I know its not standard on a lot of servers, but its one of the big draws on HG and helps them retain a server i've not seen drop below 20/80 players for months now, and it might actually help people on our server learn how to play the game mode well.

Just to step aside for a bit.

On most prop hunt servers, they ban the ability to be a mouse or remote control. Are we going to do so as well? I figure we should since some spots are basically impossible to see, such as the snow in office, or on the windowsill in the projector room shown below. If you hide as a cup, mouse, or remote control out in the snow, you're basically invisible. It seems to be a bit unfair. Just my opinion.

Played PH earlier on MG and basically this. I can show everyone about 10 spots as a mouse or remote that are basically impossible to get you at unless you have a grenade in your SMG. Not to mention the hit boxes are the size of a dime. You have to hit the mouse/remote with the magic bullet that killed JFK just to even come close to killing them.

Ask Paching about earlier when it was impossible to hit me with 3 mags from his SMG when I played as the mouse.
