So idk if anyone here has heard of this new game that is out, Nether, but it is very fun. Essentially a DayZ type game mixed with L4D fight style. Safe zones, stores, missions, actual zombies (Nether) that dont just stand around, etc. The more you act like a bandit, the more these creatures will be able to sense your presence and come after you.

I think this would be an amazing game to play as a community and i can see us all sitting in teamspeak organizing missions or tribe raids or whatever. We should make this happen! :)

(not entirely sure what the process is to obtain a Nether server, but i think it would be worth it since it is a new game that is becoming more and more popular and there arent too many gaming community servers out there yet! Great opportunity to not only expand as a gaming community but another opportunity to bond while killing shit! )

The game itself actually looks more interesting and appealing than DayZ. Watched some Nether gameplay videos and it really got my attention. The is the first idea I actually want to support, as in having a server for it.

From the Nether forums (https://forums.playnether.com/showthread.php?16-Q-amp-A!-Ask-a-Question!&p=1347&viewfull=1#post1347):

Seeing how Nether is still in beta: getting a server for it right now isn't possible.

I really like the look of this game, might be worth remembering when it pops out of beta.

I currently have three 72 hours guest-keys available. Willing to hand it out to people that are interested in playing the game, but preferably to people that actually want to play the game with me, so I don't have to play the game all by myself constantly.

I am sure if you turn down the ambient lighting and the view distance you will be fine! Still kinda iffy with the advanced settings anyways!

On another note: Hopefully we can get the support to launch a server whenever it comes out of beta (from what i heard it wont be too long).

The only thing I'm iffy about is if it'll last. We got excited about the Rust server and look where that went.. Not being negative but just iffy on the life of the server (if we get it)

Keep hearing about how similiar it is to warz

plus there's this http://forums.infestationmmo.com/index.php?/topic/83187-i-see-alot-of-new-games-dogging-infestation/#entry1044357

for those that have played it, what do you think?

Warz is arguably one of the worst games of all time. In Nether you don't have to pay to respawn, it is not pay to win, the combat actually feels good, the devs are actually good guys and not just interested in ripping off customers like WarZ. The game maintains a creepy atmosphere where you must watch your footsteps. With the constant nether shrieks in the distance, it's very tense.
