I have contacted my isp about those and they'll send an engineer tomorrow afternoon however I poster the problem here to see if I can get it fixed quicker. Just wondering what type of internet do you have?

Based on the logs you may need to have that Engi over

All I can tell you now is:
DHCP is what gives your computer its IP address, and for some reason your modem can't connect to your ISP's DCHP server or isn't getting a response from the server

He uses cable internet he told me.

And unless his routers tranciever just nuked itself, its an issue on their side (network/lines/hardware) seeing as it cant even contact the DHCP server. If its anything like how my ISP's network works, he will have to wait for the tech.

And the power levels for the US/DS seem way too out of line (basing this off of what my own ISP recomends having, which his ISP may use different power levels than mine)

Though id run a quick diag. on the router to be sure its not the cause of the problem.

Thanks for the replies guys, I've managed to fix my connection issue as the problem was the cable going to the telephone line to my modem on the telephone end it wasn't screwed in properly, screwed it in tightly and the problem is fixed. Guess I don't need that engineer over after all.

Admins can now move this to the fixed childboard
