So sad my other thread was torn asunder and lost in the nether regions of the Internet.
I shall do my best to replicate it given that I don't remember much of it, nor do I really care to replicate it.

I'll start with thanksgiving made from scratch:
Smashed potatoes, sweet potatoe casserole, turkey, gravy.

Cake my man. What is the point of buying organic beef is you are going to put artificial smoke in it?

My friend, I must agree. It is not that artificial smoke flavoring crap that they sell in some grocery stores though. It is hickory smoke concentrate.

Where's the taco in that taco dude?
It's camouflaged by the lettuce ;)
I like them on the flavorful and spicy side, so I use tons of lettuce to cut down on the burn and slightly dilute the saltiness.
Also, I think I used a little more than normal because I didn't have a useful amount of lettuce after I took what I wanted; I just threw the rest in.

My uncle owns a fishing trawler near Alaska that catches stuff like swordfish and he sends it to us every year. Very mild and delicious.

I like swordfish because it's so meaty. Should call it steakfish.
Also, split between mahi mahi and burgers for tomorrow.
Or maybe I'll buy something else?

ever had bison burgers? supposed to be more lean than beef and it tastes great.

I have, but I really like the taste and consistency of beef. Game animals just don't do it for me, with the exception of deer jerky. I would love to try something crazy like elephant or hippo, though I'm pretty sure that would be supporting something illegal so I'd pass if given the chance.

If I was all high living and shit I would leave it medium rare. But I like my food dead. So I ate with a bit of pink in the middle.

dude i dont know if its real tricky to fix it this way, but tuna is supposed to be the best at med rare to rare. ive had it in restaraunts a few times med rare and its pretty damn good. and im a guy that doesnt like a whole lot of red in his meat.

as far as not liking gamey meats. i can understand that. its not for everybody. i for one love lamb chops but i know lots of people that wont eat it. ive even had some fresh goat cooked by some iraqi police that i was patrolling with. pretty tasty.

when my father was working in alaska, he would send me some bison and caribou (reindeer) jerky. i thought the caribou was excellent and it didnt taste too gamey.

It was actually harder to cook it medium well without ruining it, I ran a fine line between just how I like it and crap. Lol.
I've never had caribou before though, I'll give anything a try once.

Lamb is awesome except for liver. Now that is irony as fuck. Minced lamb>minced beef all day.

Grass-fed 95/5 beef, seasoned with oregano, thyme, parsley, diced onions, and fresh garlic.
Served on some kind of unpreserved organic bun.
