ITT Post some Skyrim mods you're using or would like to use.

I'm currently using the Dragonborne palatte, makes it all quite pretty and the color pops.

SKYRIM ENHANCED SHADERS at Skyrim Nexus - Skyrim Mods and community (http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=822)

and this set of .ini files are pretty much the best possible optimization you can have for the game. Much higher quality image and a huge FPS boost.
Skyrim Tweaks Complete at Skyrim Nexus - Skyrim Mods and community (http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=337)

There's also the Large Address A-something on Skyrim Nexus.. But I can't find it. Makes it so Skyrim uses more than 2gb of ram and avoids crashes. Maybe someone can find it but I can't :[

Holy fuck that shader screenshot looks amazing.

Anyway here are some I use (i also use a glass retexture pack that makes glass armor/weapons have a sort of black tint to them, and i believe i have elven armor looking with a darker tint as well)

Skyrim HD - 2K Textures at Skyrim Nexus - Skyrim Mods and community (http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=607)
Texture pack (makes game load slower but fps impact is minimal)

Alright, before I try any mods for Skyrim, can anyone tell me if it's hard, and what to do and what not to do when installing them? I only tried one mod for Oblivion, which was one the unofficial patches, and it crashed my oblivion, so I had to delete them.. I'm mostly thinking about that thing that makes skyrim use more than 2gigs of ram, and the shader one showed in the pictures.

They usually tell you what to do in the instructions for the mods since they are not all the same. It's quite easy, you pretty much just copy and paste into the place it is supposed to go and then you're done, however the 4gb launcher one I had trouble with, so you're going to have to extract it out of the .rar and then run as administrator if it says Access Denied or something along those lines. Then it's done. Easy as that.

So, I downloaded and extracted it. There was a program called Skyrim4gb in the folder I got, and when I launched that, it launched skyrim. Was it just that? Didn't say access denied and I didn't have to run as administrator.

Yea lol, that was actually one of the first texture mods. Amazing how quick people get that out.

terrible quality too cause it just edits existing textures rather than making new models. we'll have to wait on the toolkit to come out for decent furfagrapeponyfestprostitution mods

also i dont know if that 4gb thing is right... before it only allowed more than 2gb, i'm not sure. that certainly isn't the one i downloaded as the title was LAA or Large Address Awareness patch, but it seems to be completely gone. Maybe the 4GB is just the new version, I'm not sure.

Skyrim4GB is a tool to load SKyrin with the Large Address Aware
executable flag set so the entire 4GB Virtual Memory Address Space can be used
by the game.

Also, something about the dragonborne pallete in the shaders mod makes everything way too blue or green.

EDIT: Just looked at the shader download page again and he's updated a lot of stuff including the dragonborne pallete.

Sounds very cool, but if the content of the mods aren't checked, it'll be damn easy to import malware to the player's PCs.
