this will sound dumb but i know in like black ops you can record games and edit them but how do i record them and put them on like my pc? and i play on ps3

You could use a capture device to do it, that's how I know some people stream games from their console to PC.

You can use Fraps really good just Frame drops allot if you don't have correct settings on it for your PC.

yea something like that, pretty much it transfers stuff from your TV to PC. Which you then can record on the PC right from your TV.

Recording something happening on a TV or monitor with a video camera tends to look pretty shitty, so I'd say that the thing he listed would be a better idea.
