making a mg game that was on 1.6 that i really enjoyed. tried gettin in contact with orignal author for some help and permission, but he was unresponsive. do i need his consent to do a remake of the map on css? or can i just give him a credit?

In all honestly, remakes are pointless. Might as well just make your own map. But if not, giving him credit wouldn't hurt.
