<fieldset><div align="center"><b class="green">Whats the Map about?</b>

Its a PB map with out any deathgame areas.
Simply ment for Cts to give orders and Ts to rebel.
Rebeling is not as easy as in Razor so it needs more skill to rebel.
There is (2) ways to armory. 1 from pool and (1 from vent (still to do))
Im going to add one short move clip to VIPs TV(with sound)
and trying to add some Video ads to disco (SG).</div></fieldset>

Atm I have green light on disco which you can turn off by pressing a button. (which I did)
I can remove it so you canīt turn it off.

BTW I HATE ELECTRIC if you didn't get it.

I know everyone doesnīt like electric maps and your map is personal. (Good map)
But i wanted to make this map what I saw to be a good PB map.

Did you use vol_light models for the "god beams" in the pool area? That looks really nice!

Alright bro, I'm making a checklist for you.

1. The guns in the armory only have 30 bullets each.. turn off SmartEdit in the properties window and add an attribute called "ammo" and set it to whatever you want.
2. You need env_cubemaps around the level if you want to compile in HDR without the lightning looking strange (e.g. the weapon models and such).
3. The armory door clips with the ceiling above it - carve out an area the size of the door above it that it can slide into.
4. Volleyball outside in the courtyard doesn't work.
5. The soccer ball needs to be changed in order to make it light enough to "kick" around. Decompile one of the Razor maps to see how it's done.
6. The cell release button on the side of the cell block area doesn't work.
7. There's an invisible barrier or wall inside the VIP room with the TV... is that intentional?
8. The button in the disco does nothing, and you should retexture the sides of the button to make them black inside of being an awkwardly resized version of the top of the button texture. Or, just set the Y value of the textures on the side higher so the red part of the button texture isn't visible.

P.S. What I would do for the player_equip problem is simply have all players spawn by default with just a knife, and then place an M4 and USP within a few units of each CT spawn - they'll pick them up automatically as soon as they spawn and it solves your problem.

That's it - this is really nice work!

4.When I add phys_pushscale 9000 it will work as soccer ball. I just need to find out how to lower gravity for certain area for 1 object.
5. Its the phys_pushscale 9000 I think. Im going to add this later. thanks for reminding.
6. It does work but I think I need to edit it.
7. Those are for custom props will be on the map. (as you can see on pics)
8. It should toggle a green light on "dance floor" it worked when i tested the same map but I think I need to retest it to see it. thanks.

Problem!
Every time I try to change song it lags my game.
each button has Startsound on 1 song and stopSound on other songs
last button has stopsound on all of them, but it doesnt work at all.

I had this problem when I made a PB map, the problem is Source can't handle too many ambient_generics being ready to play at once. What I did is use a logic_auto to kill all of the ambient_generics on the map spawn. Then I made 4 point_templates that each spawn a different song. Then for each button, make it so it activates the correct point_template and kills all the other ambient_generics.

There's probably an easier way to do this, but it's all I got for now.

But outside of that, I like the layout of the map, Ill just say right off valve textures suck so you will prob need to go into mostly custom textures. Though Dev texture maps arent to bad its a personal preference thing. Looking forward to seeing the final result.

First off. WHY THE FUCK IS THE MAP 289MB!? -Most communities, SG included do not like maps that exceed around 50mb even fully custom textured and proped maps generally end up around 70mb max(ei Lockdown, full custom textures and props with music). The reasoning is even with fast download servers, people dont want to wait 10min for a map to download on a good internet connection and it causes issues in population when for players to join there is a long map dl.

I am digging the textures at the moment, though there is still a little something missing from them imo. My advice is to add more decals, it adds a level of detail to the map that makes it feel a bit more than just a generic pb map, they can be annoying but if used right they make the map look a lot nicer.

Also a note on the lighting, it seems that the lighting in some of the smaller rooms is a little over powering, almost to the point of annoyance I would see about lower light levels in the smaller rooms a bit.

I will update this as I explore the map more.

You should check out some things that are making the map larger, a big part of it is lights, they take alot of space.

Also, hope to see this on the JB server.

Ok, So download finished. Started map. Texture errors all around seems your custom textures are not added correctly or I am for some reason lacking valve textures O.o In addition I have found why the map is so large, for music you do not need to use .wave files as they are much to large, you can just use mp3 files


Did you use pakrat to compile the needed files into the map?

Possibility #1. PakRat's Auto Import did not add all files due to different file extensions, first thing would be to click add, then select all files then add the custom textures manually.

Possibility #2 Abnormal Compilation, Go for normal on all counts of compile in hammer.


Outside of that im not sure, I will look into a bit more.

Well got it working now.
This should be the final verion of the map. Still testing for any bugs.
