I recently added some extra stuff to my pc like a new cpu mobo and ram.

I started getting a lot of bsod when playing games other than css. So I googled what came up in the bsod and they said it was my sound card software which was causing the problem. (BF2 and BFBC2 were the main problems)

Said it was the via hd audio deck causing the problems. so i uninstalled the drivers and stopped getting the bsod. However now i am getting bsod for other reasons and it wont let me re-install those drivers. I haven't been able to watch any porn in about a week apart from on my iPad which just isnt the same.

So uhhh I need some help with getting my sound working again. Like I tried downloading the drivers and it gives me this driver detective shit. And I cant install it from my cd.

Thanks

I'll get some pictures later because I left my usb stick at my friends so I needa pick it up.

Do you still have the BSOD error codes? Is the sound card on the motherboard or a separate card? What is the model of the motherboard or sound card? What is the link that you tried to download drivers from? What do you mean by "Like I tried downloading the drivers and it gives me this driver detective shit. And I cant install it from my cd."?

I fixed the error by uninstalling my via hd audio deck drivers. They are the only drivers I can have for the built in sound card on my motherboard which really sucks because it crashes bf2 and without them it doesn't however I'm also getting a bsod with win32k.sys

I had a look around and this is what I found

Stop 0x00000050 or PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

The Stop 0x50 message indicates that requested data was not in memory. The system generates an exception error when using a reference to an invalid system memory address. Defective memory (including main memory, L2 RAM cache, video RAM) or incompatible software (including remote control and antivirus software) might cause Stop 0x50 messages.

Possible Resolutions:

• If you added new hardware recently, remove and replace the hardware to determine if it is causing or contributing to the problem. Run diagnostics software supplied by the hardware manufacturer to determine if the component has failed.

• Stop 0x50 messages can also occur after installing faulty drivers or system services. If the file name is listed, you need to disable, remove, or roll back that driver. If not, disable the recently installed service or application to determine if this resolves the error. If this does not resolve the problem, contact the hardware manufacturer for updates. Using updated drivers and software is especially important for network interface cards, video adapters, backup programs, multimedia applications, antivirus scanners, and CD mastering tools. If an updated driver is not available, attempt to use a driver from a similar device in the same family. For example, if printing to a Model 1100C printer causes Stop 0x50 errors, using a printer driver meant for a Model 1100A or Model 1000 might temporarily resolve the problem.

I bought the cheapest ram I could find, so I think this ram is the problem.

This is my system.

Well if you think it is the RAM you can try running memtest.

I found my problem. It was the omega drivers, I rolled them back to the ati drivers and now it's all working.

Thanks for your help.

Mentioning you weren't using first party drivers would've been helpful...
