What instruments do you play?

What instruments do all of you guys play?

I can play the drums, the guitar and a little bit of piano., but drums are my favorite by far.

I play guitar (and all fretted instruments by extension pretty much), a bit of piano/keyboard (will be taking classes starting next semester, but I might be able to skip over the first level of it), beginner-level drums (I can lay down a basic beat in pretty much any time signature and do a proper shuffle, which I think makes me better than a lot of drummers :\), I can play Mary Had a Little Lamb on both trumpet and saxophone. Give me five minutes with almost any instrument and I can play something on it that doesn't sound like death, I was always pretty good at music if I do say so myself. I think I actually got worse at writing the more I learned about theory :sad:

I'd love to get a sitar and a theremin. I'd like to pick up saxophone again too...I quit after like a month cause the school lessons were way too slow and I didn't care enough to just get private lessons at the time.

I wish I'd taken Cello in elementary school instead of trumpet :( All I wanted to do was play reveille...they brought us into the music room and had us play all the options available to see what we would be best at and they were like "yeah can you please play cello now you should really play cello" but I didn't listen :(

To this day I still haven't managed to get a flute to make noise.

Anyways i play the guitar, im pretty good if i do say so myself, and im self taught. This is basically my guitar, except it only has 1 tone, 1 volume.

...ahem. Yeah yeah, old thread is old, but I bought my first guitar today. Kinda late to be starting at 22, but I only want it to be a hobby. Gaming is getting really fucking boring.

I picked up a G-310 today along with Doug Marks' Metal Method. Should be fun. :thumbup1:

Besides that I think I can play the drums decently. I live in an apartment so I can't play a real set of drums(otherwise I wouldn't have gotten a guitar to begin with), but I've got sticks and a history with Drum Mania. Every once and awhile I grab my sticks and hit my thigh with them and tap my feet on the ground. I can do the generic DragonForce verse drum line like that and a 160~ish BPM double bass drum line, so I don't think making the transition to an actual drum set would be too difficult other than actually having stick rebound on drum pads versus having none at all on my thigh and having pedals instead of the floor.

I've played Baritone in middle school and high school for three semesters, did keyboard for two semesters in high school and acoustic guitar for one semester in high school.

5 years classical piano training, my mother did that to me when i was younger, hated that shit. The piano is in my parents house.

About 2-3 years of drum lessons, still have my drumset.

you mean the grey bits on the symbols? those are just pads to dampen the sound, it's the same with the black covers on the drums.
