http://www.amazon.com/student

Requires:
-Valid .edu e-mail address
-Specify college, year and major

Go here to Sign Up (http://www.amazon.com/gp/student/signup/info)

Everything else is self-explanatory. Go to prime and manage your account. Should be activated and have an ending date 1 year from sign-up date. You are even able to add family members to the account like a regular prime subscription.

"Join Amazon Student and get FREE Two-Day Shipping for one year with a free Amazon Prime membership ($79 value), as well as e-mail alerts for exclusive promotions. There is no cost to join--simply sign up by providing your school and major. If you’re not a student, you may still be eligible for a free trial of Amazon Prime."

From what I see you can get 2 day shipping free from Amazon for a year if you do this. Of course you have to have a valid .edu account in order to get this.

Yeah, saw that, really cool.

What sucks is that .edu is only used for American schools. Outta luck, Canadians :(

Well I meant Uni as in the not college in the UK sense, but yeah. You know what I mean. An institution of higher learning. >.>
