<fieldset><div align="center"><b class="green">PB-map</div></b>

The map isn't really big. I made it so that most of the rooms are connected to eachother, this will be a benefit for the t's. however there aren't very much guns in the map.
1 deag (7 shots) 1 usp (12 shots) 1 scout (10 shots)
If the terrorist do wanna have alot of guns they'll have to risk their lives for it by going trough an underwater maze. This maze has 2 possible exits, 1 leads to a secondary armory, this grants u elite handguns & fragnades, from this secondary armory u can teleport back to the yard.
The second exit leads to a secret place at the ct-armory (ct's can't see u, but u can see them). at this place u can find some light machine guns and a teleport to the yard, however by taking the tele ALL weapons will be stripped from you.
The rooms:

Cellblock: there are only 3 pretty big cells, 1 of them contains an usp.
Soccer: rather small
kitchen: not much to do there, but perhaps u could find a deagle
big cage: made from glass, 2 walls are breakable
infermary: heals 10hp a time (so it goes pretty fast)
climb: it's made with moving objects (has shown to be a pain in the ass the first times :happy:)
Pool: has a deep & undeep part, has 1 divingboard
yard: pretty big area, somewhere there might be a scout hidden. divided in a ct & a t area. (ct-area has some scouts to). I made here some kind of rope where u have to jump over, if u fail it u get teleported to the noobbox

Sounds like a nice map only if i where you you should add some nades in cells (toilet they like to stick there hands in the toilet i gues) and for the questions message me on steam (atleast i think you're on my friendlist xD) If this is a good map i hope it wil replace 3 versions of razor xD

Do a spinning fridge for the nade. I lol'd when i first went on DR and got that nade.

And undeep? Have you ever been to a pool and heard the word shallow?

The maze to the secondary armory

The black gate u see is the teleport to the maze, it's a one-way ticket so u might reconsider taking it ... once u go in there's only 1 way out.

as you can see the maze is completely flooded except from 2 safezones (i've putted a heal there so u don't have to wait for regen.)

I kept this 1 organized, u can chose between m4, m3(shotgun), deagle, scout, he-grenade.

The big cage, normally it's full but u can knive out 2 walls (took me 2 clips of m4)

there is a pit in the back where the t's can 'hide' while shooting the ct's ... (there is 1 scout out there)

This is that rope i was speaking bout, if u get hit by it u get teleported to the noobbox, u can only open it from the outside ... so hope ur teammates are kind.

I suck at lights & was not really planning on doing it, but i suppose it's bout time i learn how to add lights ...

i'll try & add some lights on the map (but it will most likely take me some time :thumb:

It looks like a solidmap.

Pros: Great proportions, everything is sized pretty well. A good variety of activities, plenty of stuff to do. CT armory is beautiful.

Cons: Brick textures are fucking confusing when it's a brick wall behind a brick wall with a window or corner. Climb textures don't mesh either, and I highly advise against fullbright. Also, the secret armory is shit. I'm sorry, but that's just sloppy.

I've been thinking the same, just was too laizy to admit it :happy:
i'll check for another texture i can use to clear that out

I'm sorry, but that's just sloppy.

special is my word for laizy & quick solution :usa2:
i'll put some more work in it too

My workz probably will get pretty much delayed since i have to relearn 10 exams (i know i'm stupid)

been thinking it be cool if some one had a place up high not possible to get to that has a gun if you throw a nade up there it knocks down guns or more nades or something for the ts

sounds cool indeed,:thumb: i might add this in the yard ... hide a nade in the yard & put the scout up there (would this place be in clear view or hidden?)

(update: changed the terror armory,
it's with a weaponspawner now (removed the ak so u only get an elite & a he-grenade)
The wall is black/white now & changed the ground to that moving lava texture

you could camo it and make it a tree or something. also was thinking about a glass pinata that is way up high and takes a couple scout shots to break and when it is it drops a bunch of macs or tmps or pumps(pumps would be best because of lack of range you have to use skill). also maybe trap like things for ts like a barrel drops in armory to kill campers if you get to top of climb or something like that. i have a bunch more but these are a few

I like this idea too :happy:, i could make a glass ball which moves around at some speed...
If i'd fill it up it wouldnt be with guns though ... i don't want too many guns in there .... perhaps i fill it with 5 he-grenades or something ...

It would be the pinata or the place u need to nade for a weapon ... since they're both your ideas u can chose

I could use this ... not sure if i'd put the detonating button at climb or maze ... i want to keep climb as harmless as possible to prevent ct's of getting scared of it & never sending ppl there ...

i'd rather put the detonate button in a seperate place in the maze ...
at a certain point in the maze u have to chose between 7 possible ways ... i could make 1 of them leading to the armory/exit & 1 leading to another safezone with a button (the trap can only get activated once)

Ideas flooding in, map looks good. Maybe you can call it: ba_exacto_hell_prison, ba_1way_maze or ba_t_nightmare :D

In your climb area, my suggestion is to displlace the walls,s o it doesn't look like.. well.. a large wall of grass. And possiblly change the texture to a blend texture with rocks and foliage.

If you need help with lighting or textures or anything, ask me, i'm willing and able to help.

i 'finnished' a first version of the map

I'm pretty sure there still are some problems with the maps such as:
- lag
- errors in console when u play it
these problems aren't too big at the moment so i'm already releasing this version for a first test ...

things i didnt do yet, but plan to do
- add lights
- retexture some things (plz tell me which texture u hate most)
- find the cause of the lag & fix it
- find the cause of the errors in console & fix it

for now u can find the version here (http://www.mediafire.com/?qtditwnvlmr) it's called backup13 ... since i havent decided on the name yet i just kept the name i was working with ...

edit: i just found another problem out (minor) at the secret spot in ct-armory where u can get the light machine gun there's supposed to be a strip before u get teleported ... so u can't leave that place with the gun ... it ain't working yet

Personal preferences come in to play here, so if you like something, feel free to leave it. But these are just some texture fixes i'd suggest.

(going by your screenshots)

1.) not so keen on the plethra of different textures going on there. Try and go with a uniform theme.

2, 3.) the floor texture. That's more or less meant for a wall, hence why it like.. "Cuts off" for lack of a better work. If you want to go with a texture like that, search the beginning of its name and find one that is the solid texture, not with the stuff on the bottom.

5.) (Correct me if i'm wrong, i can't fully tell) If that's a dev textured ladder, change it. bleeegh. and if the red thing to the side is a cord/rope texture or whatever, change it to a solid looking texture and just set an output to change its colour

Do you mean 1 and the same texture for most of the rooms or just some textures that better fit together? ... (if it's the second i must warn u i have awefull skils at picking things that look good together) ... at this moment i didnt change it (i tryed to change some texture & i ended up with something very very ugly)

Well i found this texture at floor & i liked this 1 the most, it's a light colour & not boring ... if anyone has something that would be better please post a sample & i'll check it out ... didnt change this yet ...

The ladders is gonna get replaced by some handmade ladders which look much better ... already changed this

I took this texture because it was that cheap kinda stuff ... people told me it's best to use the watertexture with cheap in it since it would be better for the fps or something ... already changed this

Those spiky pyramids are just something i threw in to make some cover ... i didnt want an empty yard with nothing in it ... & this gives some opportunity to hide ... not directly planning on changing it

as for the blend part, i'll see what i can do bout it :thumb:

You have to give a name to "nade" or gun. then make the parent of you object to the name of the gun.
